She squatted there like an Indonesian on the floor of the pharmacy. She had let me have the chair since I held a Little One. With my mind's eye, I tried to erase the large scar that was displayed across her lip and cheek ... and when I did, I saw a gorgeous lady ... Had her teeth been all there and some make up put on, she could very well be a Hollywood star. She was thin and wore a tough life with her second-hand clothing.
She was an interesting conversationalist. She asked. She listened.
And there in some random moment in time, me -- just home from the mission field -- and she -- a recovering drug addict --spoke like dear friends.
I wonder what her story is.
But with the hope in her eyes, I wonder even more so ... what her story will be.
