Being relocated to Aceh because of the lack of rain on Borneo has reminded me of a story which I heard long ago in Sunday School. Remember Elijah? When there was no rain in Elijah's day (I wonder if it was smokey there?), God moved Elijah out into the wilderness. He drank there from a brook and birds were sent daily to feed him. The story is a testimony of how Elijah was faithfully and lovingly cared for by His Maker.
These days in Aceh I feel like Elijah. My experience here of how God has provided for our needs is like a present-day-Sunday-School-story showing me once again how faithful and loving our Heavenly Father is.
