If The Walls Could Talk

If the walls could talk … they’d have a tale to tell. They’d say they heard more laughter this past week … how joy filled this place and how the guests who were here left a piece of themselves within these walls. They’d tell you of a family gathered together here: where stories and memories and prayers were shared. They’d talk of fabulous smells coming from a Grammy in the kitchen, the licking of fingers and sneaking of dough, the melodies of stringed music and children’s song, the pattering of feet heading for a cuddle, the jumping of a Papa with his grandkids on the trampoline, the joyful screaming of children being chased, the quiet whispers of stories being read, and the soft tears shed with those who are dear.
