To some the work of renovating missionary houses may not seem very "eternal", but as I unpacked my dishes and looked at the gorgeous western kitchen that Chris designed for me, I prayed that God would do the same work in me. Just like the ugly kitchen that this once was, which has been made beautiful, may I too would be "renovated". Beauty from ashes. May the work that we do here (that of construction, renovation, upkeep of current facilities) be a reflection of the work God is doing in us ... and in those we serve and come to love here in Indonesia.
