I figured out a way to fool those pesky ants! I made a chocolate cake with chocolate icing and there was no way that the ants were not going to smell it! In a country where ants come running when you drop a Cheerio on the floor, I was not going to be naive about the 99% sugar cake that I was baking. So I teased them. I filled one empty cookie sheet with water, put two pans of equal height like pillars in my cookie sheet lake, and then placed the freshly iced heavenly dessert on top of the pillars. The only way the ants would be able to get to the cake would be to swim. And ants don't swim. Paet figured that I was a genious.
