Safely Across

Yesterday as I waited to cross a busy, puddly road, a little Papuan boy also stood waiting.
When I ventured out, he quickly started across too.
I looked down at his cuteness and said,
"Ayoh!  Kita bersama!"  (Let's go!  You and I together!)
And we travelled safely across.

There are 2 million speakers of a language here that does not yet have a translation of the Bible.  Knowing that there are many children in this country, I am guessing that a very large percentage of these millions are children.  Children like this little boy.  Standing on one side.  Wanting to cross to the other.  But just need someone to help them across.
